If you want to position yourself at the forefront of the tech-fueled economic boom that Southeast Asia seems to be edging toward, head on over to Jakarta to join the two-day Tech In Asia Conference in October. With its three previous editions in Singapore, Tokyo and Jakarta consolidated into a single flagship conference in 2019, Tech In Asia Jakarta seems to be a promising gateway into the Asia-Pacific startup ecosystem.

This year’s conference is expected to attract 6000+ attendees from various backgrounds, including startup veterans, investors, media personnel, and corporate representatives. In addition, 250+ speakers will be joining to offer their insights on ten tracks, including Creativity in Tech, People & Talent, Marketing & Branding, and Legality & Regulation, among others. Not only will they highlight emerging trends in the ever-changing technology market, but also offer insights on how to tackle the challenges of being an entrepreneur in today’s world.

Some notable speakers include:

  • CEO of OVO, Jason Thompson
  • Managing Director of Google Indonesia, Randy Jusu
  • Co-founder and CEO of Tokopedia, William Tanuwijaya
  • Managing Director of LINE Indonesia, Dale Kim

While networking prospects are the main selling point of most tech conferences, Tech In Asia seems to be going the extra mile in providing its attendees with opportunities to connect. In segments like Startup-Investor Speed Dating, startups can pitch directly to investors in 7-minute controlled interactions. They can also glean more in-depth insights into tech and business spheres through sessions like Flash Talk—a ten-minute Q&A with industry experts.

Also, the conference will feature an Arena Pitch Battle, where ten leading hardware and software startups will take the stage to pitch to a live audience. While one will be crowned the Arena Winner, all participants can hope to benefit from the spotlight.
