Students Showcase FinTech Ideas at Cyberport University Partnership Programme Demo Day 2016
Hong Kong – 27 October 2016 – Riding on the success of the pilot launch last year, Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited (Cyberport) organised the Cyberport University Partnership Programme (CUPP) 2016. Strengthening the programme’s goal of building future entrepreneurs, 20 teams of 65 students from six universities celebrated the finish line by showcasing their promising FinTech ideas, through leveraging the use of blockchain technology, gamification and more, to a panel of judges consisting of industry leaders and experts at Demo Day today. Ten winning teams will each be awarded a cash grant of HK$100,000 and a fast-track interview opportunity to the Cyberport Incubation Programme.
