A 4VGear up for the biggest running event of the year!
Registrations for the 17th edition of the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM) are filling up fast with almost 25,000 sign ups. Runners looking to participate have 7 days left to snag the Early Bird discounts.

With the brand new two-day format taking place on the 8th and 9th of December, and a myriad of community- centric offerings, this year’s marathon is expected to deliver an improved race experience to over 50,000 runners across six different categories.

Ensuring SCSM remains accessible to runners of all abilities, the 5km category will be reintroduced at this year’s edition. Participants looking for an entry-level distance but full marathon experience are encouraged to join this category, which will be flagged off together with the 10km category.  The race will begin at the F1 Pit Building and end by The Float at Marina Bay on Saturday morning, a day before their Marathon and Half Marathon counterparts.

This year’s Ekiden category will offer 500 slots for a group of five runners looking to run the full marathon as a team.  The race will see each runner cover a distance of over 8km.

CFamilies are in for the ultimate bonding experience with the revamped Kids Dash taking them through an exciting adventure as they dash through the scenic zones at the Universal Studios Singapore.

Those unsure of which category to sign-up for can take up the Double-Up Challenge, providing them access to either the 5km or 10km category on Saturday, before proceeding to participate in either the Marathon or Half Marathon on Sunday.

Interested participants can sign up at by 31 May to enjoy the discounted rates.

Standard Chartered Cardholders will enjoy 15% off registration fee across all categories throughout the registration period.
