Mozaic – a social network expansion platform – is now open for business

HONG KONG, 27th July 2017 – Mozaic Hong Kong is happy to announce the start of its new business venture, a social network expansion platform targeted at the over-40 sector of Hong Kong society. This is a unique and exciting concept designed to serve a demographic of the community that has so far been rather overlooked.
Think of Mozaic as an eClub – one that has no fixed abode but multiple venues. Mozaic has created an environment for its members to meet in an on-line space and then assemble and engage off-line via its wide array of organised and managed events and activities. The company manages its members’ leisure time leaving them free to just turn up, relax and enjoy themselves amongst other like-minded people.

The wide-ranging and varied events are designed to cater to all manner of tastes and demands such as culinary and gastronomic gatherings, historical walks and talks, hikes and sporting activities, cultural outings, specialised classes and organised travel and tours. The goal is to provide mass appeal and thus seek optimal participation amongst members helping them to expand their social circles and maybe enhance their business connections, all while being entertained and indulged.

“We are very excited to be launching this new concept to address what we recognised as a fundamental necessity for people of this age group. As people leave Hong Kong and move on, those left behind see their group of acquaintances diminishing and it becomes ever harder attract new ones. Mozaic provides an amicable environment for new friendships to grow,” said Jacqueline Chia, one of Mozaic’s co-founders.

This “virtual” club is now open for business and membership registration – everyone over 40 is welcome. An assortment of exciting events and venues has already been arranged. While this idea might seem a little unusual at first glance, that’s because it’s unique – it’s a totally new approach which is why it’s so exciting. It’s the first of its kind in Hong Kong thereby making it a comprehensive medium for local residents to meet, connect and engage.

Registration begins on 8 August, an auspicious day in the Chinese calendar, at
