Feb 21: Mettā To Launch Global Flagship Salon Series – “What’s Next?”

February 13, Hong KongWhat’s Next? is a signature Mettā event series that aims to bring together the brightest and most influential minds from across the Hong Kong and Nairobi innovation ecosystems to debate cutting-edge topics each month.

On Wednesday, February 21st, Mettā Hong Kong will kick off by diving into the eminently hot topic of talent, with a specific focus on how to not just keep up, but get ahead of the unique needs of the Millennial and Gen Z workforce.

Discussion points will include:

  • How to understand, attract and retain your best talent
  • Misconceptions around the ever-elusive “Millennial”
  • Understanding the modern search for meaning in employment: exploring purpose, transcendence, belonging and storytelling

To cover a variety of perspectives on the topic, the interactive salon discussion will feature John Wood, Founder of Room to Read, Adam Gregory, HK Country Manager & Director, APAC Talent Solutions at Linkedin, Rosemary Merz, Managing Director at Text 100 Hong Kong, and CY Chan, Head of Talent Engagement & Corporate Social Investment at Hong Kong Broadband Network. The session will be moderated by Sommer Nisbet, Director, Organisational Development Greater China at Robert Walters.
