Headquartered in Hong Kong, Kowrk.com is enabling the ‘Airbnb for office spaces’ in 50+ cities across the world. The ‘Shared Offices’ model allows small and large companies with commercial office space to list their unused space seat-by-seat. Startups, freelancers, and other professionals can book this space at affordable rates & flexible terms through Kowrk.com.
The “Shared Offices model will enrich the coworking trend that is being seen across the countries,” says Kowrk’s founder Honey J Kathuria, who previously managed offline operations in APAC for Hotels.com. “One one hand, there is a high demand for more affordable shared work spaces that coworking spaces and business centres are unable to fulfil. On the other side, many companies have unused space that they can monetise by renting it to others. Matching them, is a win-win for everyone.”
Kowrk has started offering shared offices in Hong Kong. They launched this initiative with Kayak as the first company to offer spare desks in their beautiful office in Central. Users have an option to book one or more desks on a monthly basis. At the price of HKD3,500 per month, each seat comes with access to internet, personal lockers, pantry and an opportunity to network with Kayak’s team.
Do you think that the only place you can cowork is in a coworking space? It is now possible for you to cowork in Kayak’s office as well! With more & more MNC’s opting to share their office, the term ‘shared office’ must be added to our vernacular, alongside ‘coworking space’ and ‘business centre’.
