HBX Unveils Palm Angels Pop-Up To Launch The Exclusive Palm Island Capsule

Hong Kong, June 2, 2018 – After two consecutive pop-ups this May, HBX unveils the final pop-up with PALM ANGELS, starting from 31st May, 2018 at SHOP B30, LANDMARK MEN, LANDMARK ATRIUM, 15 Queen’s Road Central, Hong Kong, to launch it’s exclusive capsule, PALM ISLAND for HBX. Francesco Ragazzi, PALM ANGELS’ designer and Moncler’s artistic director, will personally kick-off the launch event on the 31st in Hong Kong with meet-and-greet and cocktail sessions with VIP guests and fans. The exclusive capsule is inspired by the spirit of Palm Island, which has been developed to a design print for SS18’s collection. The capsule also represents the first official launch of PALM’ ANGELS’ famous rainbow track, where this time it is produced with nylon in a new tonal rainbow band, playfully and precisely placed on PALM’s signature track suits, tees and hoodies, along with shirts and swim shorts filled with Palm Island prints.

“I think we are now part of the tracksuit DNA, we are that 90’s music vibe 2.0 and music has always been one of my biggest inspiration.” said Francesco.

The installation, as one of the highlights, is designed to re-imagine PALM ANGEL’s mix of LA’s chill attitude and Milan’s sensibilities through neon lights, violet carpets and a specially-designed sculpture that stores a stack of chromed balloons, in order to echo the texture of the garments.

The VIP launch event will be held on the 31st of May, from 630pm – 9pm HKT with meet & greet, following a private dinner with Francesco and some of the fashion industry names at Potato Head.
