The Lane Crawford Joyce Group Launches an Accelerator Program

The Lane Crawford Joyce Group just announced the launch of their accelerator program called The Cage. The Cage is a 12-week, full-time program which offers intensive mentorship to two start-ups developing technologies and/or services that apply to fashion and lifestyle retail, as it relates to their core businesses. Selection Process

After applications are submitted and reviewed, six start-ups will be invited to participate in an exhibition and present at a pitch night. From the pitch night, two winning start-ups will be offered the opportunity to take up residence in The Cage – a physical showcase space in the Group’s One Island South headquarters in Hong Kong, known as such for its unique design.

Prizes

  • A dedicated, tight- knit community of global industry experts and entrepreneurs providing tailored mentorship and commercial guidance

  • Direct access to key decision makers within The Lane Crawford Joyce Group ecosystem

  • Customised speaker sessions and panels on topics relevant to strengthening business fundamentals

  • Three-month residency and supporting infrastructure at no charge

  • HK$50,000 cash prize

The inaugural programme kicking off in September 2016, calls for start-ups with a prototype that can be developed and applied to Innovating the Customer Experience.
