Hong Kong’s Dragon Law announced today the launch of their legal technology software in Australia and New Zealand. Daniel Walker, CEO, Dragon Law

The launch for Australia and New Zealand offers 44 documents that are localised for use in each country – “We work with law firms to ensure all Dragon Law documents are compliant with local law – so you don’t have to,” says Daniel.

Dragon Law’s offering in Australia and New Zealand is a startup-specific plan focussing on the key documents that fast-growing high-tech businesses need to get started, run a business online, employ people, protect their IP, and raise money.

When asked where Dragon Law stands among the local competition, Daniel said, “We’ve spent a lot of time analysing the legal technology landscape in Australia and have always known it to be a competitive market. However it’s also a mature market where businesses understand the sophistication and value in SaaS technology. We’re not just a template business; and we’d never want to be one – we’re in the business of helping businesses and law firms discover a better way to do what they already need to do. We provide an end-to-end solution that helps businesses of all sizes take control of the way they manage legal, become more productive, and save time and money in the process.”

The idea for Dragon Law started in 2012 as two ambitious lawyers who dreamt about revolutionising the way businesses perceived and managed legal. The Dragon Law app was first launched in beta in Hong Kong in 2015, launched in Singapore in 2016, and is now available in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand and Australia. Dragon Law currently employs approximately 50 staff across Hong Kong and Singapore and is hiring aggressively in Australia and New Zealand to support their growth plans.
