HONG KONG, 23 FEBRUARY 2017 – In a move sure to excite entrepreneurs and enterprises alike, WeWork celebrated the official opening of one of its flagship Asia locations by hosting a formal opening ceremony at Tower 535 in the heart of Causeway Bay, Hong Kong on 23rd February 2017. Established in 2010 as a platform for creators that provides the beautiful space, inspiring community and meaningful business services to help people make a life not just a living, WeWork now brings Hong Kong’s most enterprising companies together to create, connect and grow. Spanning eight floors with stunning views of Victoria Harbour, WeWork Tower 535 brings a new dynamic to Hong Kong’s vibrant business scene with an unsurpassed ability to help local businesses scale by facilitating collaboration both at home and abroad.

The official opening of WeWork Tower 535 is the latest development in WeWork’s expansion into Greater China. In partnership with Hony Capital and Sino-Ocean Group, WeWork is slated to enter Beijing and will open three locations there in the near future. WeWork also plans to bolster its two existing locations in Shanghai with three more spaces. Including Tower 535 in Causeway Bay and a second location in Wan Chai in Hong Kong, WeWork’s growing regional presence will play an instrumental role in driving Greater China startups and enterprises to new heights.

Mr. Gregory So Kam-leung, the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development for the HKSAR Government, was in attendance to officiate at the event and gave a speech during the launch ceremony.
