Another milestone for self-funded digital marketing startup from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as it brings its international operations to Hong Kong.
Hong Kong, April 21st, 2017 – OpenMinds announces its expansion to busy Hong Kong, impacting the landscape of digital marketing in Hong Kong with a BANG.
Driven by passion, OpenMinds provides a consultative, specialised approach to social media and digital marketing. With OpenMinds, businesses can now enjoy unparalleled and personalised social media marketing, digital analytics and tech development services.
“OpenMinds is created to plug the gap between marketing and technology in today’s businesses,” says founder Jan Wong. “The founding team was seeking funding for an app solution when we, in fact, attracted more attention for our digital marketing strategies.”
With this growing demand, OpenMinds pivoted to focus on digital consultancy to assist businesses in finding their way through the ever-evolving digital space.
Fully bootstrapped with zero external funding to a reputable startup generating millions annually, OpenMinds now opens its doors in the financial hub of Asia. OpenMinds’ group of consultants have serviced established brands across various industries like BOSCH, CIMB Bank, NIDA Rooms and Nestle.
“With the growth of tech-literate consumers, (digital marketing) equips businesses with tools to compete against industry giants by levelling the playing field, giving businesses an edge despite the market size and budget differences,” adds co-founder Jeffrey Ng.
OpenMinds is known for their tailor-made solutions. “At OpenMinds, we start by understanding the objective and goals of the brand, putting the needs and ideals of our partnering brands first,” explains co-founder Randy Too.
A study conducted by Go-Globe reveals that 64% of the total Hong Kong population are active on social media. Hong Kong also boasts of an astounding 96% penetration rate of smartphone-internet browsing in Asia.
“These numbers give us the confidence that Hong Kong would be a market prime to tap,” shares co-founder Eliza Lee.
On a whole, OpenMinds aims to build a sustainable ecosystem of startups that attracts the world’s greatest minds to positively impact people, progressively disrupt relevant industries and fervently create meaningful/purposeful opportunities. #ThisIsOpenMinds
