ZingaraFit is a new online platform designed to help users find and book training sessions within the company’s community of instructors. The purpose is to create an efficient, user-friendly platform that gives instructors an outlet to promote their services; whether they’re part-time or established fitness instructors.
ZingaraFit was created to help freelance fitness instructors publicise their services, and to help clients find specific instructors to fulfill their needs. Like many freelance instructors, ZingaraFit’s founder Melissa Eichelberger initially relied on personal referrals to build her client base. As a part-time instructor, the challenge was to find wider access to more clients without the hefty marketing costs.
ZingaraFit offers a much-needed alternative to large corporate gyms and single activity fitness studios. The website allows users to search and connect with instructors of any sport or activity – making this an ideal platform for those seeking instruction or lessons from instructors normally found in sports clubs or by word-of-mouth referrals.
“ZingaraFit’s solution is really two-fold,” says Melissa. “The platform helps instructors not only gain access to a wider social network, but takes care of the booking process as well. Clients know upfront what the instructor charges, and can easily book group sessions for those wanting to workout with friends. And second, the platform helps those looking for instructors that are not normally found in gyms or studios, like swimming and tennis instructors for example.”
ZingaraFit is perfect for freelance instructors looking to expand their clientele network – it’s completely free for instructors to be listed on the platform. Instructors can create their public profile by simply filling out their availability calendar, setting their hourly rate, and listing where & when they prefer to coach. Users can browse, message and pay online for private or group training sessions.
So far, the site offers instructors in yoga, tennis, swimming, and martial arts, as well as personal trainers from some of Hong Kong’s more prominent fitness groups, like Olya Korzh with Circuit 25, and Peak Performance and NT Bootcamps co-founder Daniel Chung.
